TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Asia's Largest Youth Tournament

The JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7s is Asia’s Premier Youth Football competition which showcases the young talent of over 450 teams across 17 countries. Teams from all around the world will come together over the Easter weekend to compete in our 7-a-side tournament right here in sunny Singapore.

Registration Process

Team Registration

Registration is through our tournament website. You will then be granted access to the tournament information including fee payment and team/player registration. Please note that you can only proceed to payment once you have received written confirmation from JSSL that your teams have been accepted.

Fee Payment

Once you have registered your team(s), you will then be asked to make payment of tournament fees. Once verified, you will then be granted a spot in our competition, and thus allowed to register your players.

Player Registration

Players will need to be registered at least 1 week before the competition, with their Full Name, Date of Birth, and Unique Jersey Number. Once player registrations are confirmed, you will then be fully eligible to compete in our 7’s!

Who may participate?

All clubs are welcome to participate in the JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7’s. Our goal is to give as many clubs and teams the opportunity to take part and compete in Asia’s No 1 youth football tournament. Teams will be accepted based on previous performance(s) at the JSSL 7s and on merit.

The tournament begins with a group play. Teams are divided into groups of six or seven teams, where all teams play each other once. Following that, the top four placed teams of the group will qualify for “Cup Knock Out”, while the remaining teams in the group will qualify to the “Plate Knock Out” stages. The tournament is played under all applicable FIFA rules.

Boys Age Groups
B6’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2018
B7’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2017
B8’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2016
B9’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2015
B10’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2014
B11’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2013
B12’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2012
B13’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2011
B14’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2010
B15’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2009
B16’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2008

Girls Age Groups
G10’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2014
G12’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2012
G14’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2010
G16’s: Players must be born on/after Jan 1st 2008

Tournament App

The official JSSL 7s Mobile App is available for all Apple and Android devices. Matches, schedules, results, tournament updates, videos, images, social media can all be accessed through the interactive JSSL 7s App.

Live Scoring System

All fixtures and results will be updated immediately after the end of the game. Positions in the table will be updated according to all other results too. The automated system will also allow teams to know their knock-out game schedules and timings immediately after the group stage fixtures are done.

Number of teams in the tournament

In recent years we have not been able to accept all teams that wished to join. However, for 2024, we are hoping to be able to accept as many teams as we can. Once teams have registered online they will be informed within 1 month whether they have been accepted or not. Teams will be accepted based on previous JSSL 7s performance and on merit. Teams can enter up to 2 teams per age group. Once accepted teams will be expected to pay for their team registration within 14 days. Registration counts from the date we receive the registration fee. Please keep in mind that most categories tend to be fully booked very early.

Official Accomodation

JSSL Singapore has appointed over 10 Official Hotels for the 2024 JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7’s. All hotels will offer the best rates available with the Carlton Hotel, the no 1 Official Hotel where the Professional Clubs will be staying. The Official Hotels provide a range of 3 star to 5 star across different price ranges to accommodate all teams needs and price ranges.

July 2023: Online registration for JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7s 2024 tournament opens (Early Bird)
October 2023: Online registration continues (Normal Rate) & Online official hotel accommodation Opens
1 March 2024: Online registration of players opens
22 March 2024: Online Registration of players closes
27 & 28 March, 2024: Arrival day
28 March, 2024: Team games played from 4pm onwards
29 & 30 March, 2024: Group Stage Matches
31 March, 2024: Knock Out Games & Finals at ARENA STADIUM

Entry & Payment

Please keep in mind that most of the categories are fully booked very early. To secure a spot in the tournament – register early. Once you receive confirmation of your teams you will receive an invoice for payment. The registration fee must be paid within 14 days from when you have been accepted and receive your invoice. All payments need to be done to the JSSL 7s bank account: Once we receive the payment of your registration fee, we will confirm your registration. Note that all bank transaction fees have to be paid for by the teams. You have to pay in Singapore $ currency.

Insurances/Responsibility

Make sure that all your players are insured both on and off the playing field. JSSL Singapore does not carry any group insurance protecting participants in case of injury, illness, theft, or damage to property. JSSL will not be held liable or responsible for any damage or injury to any player or parent during the JSSL 7’s.

Cancellation of tournament & force majeure

In the event that the tournament can’t be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the tournament organisers (force majeure*) or due to events that are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence or the tournament organisers, the tournament organisers cannot be held liable by the delegations for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses etc. Under these circumstances, the tournament organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future tournament, or to reimburse the delegations after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the tournament and which could not be recovered from third parties.**JSSL Singapore is in no way responsible for injury or economic loss which may arise in the case of acts of terror, war, warlike events, civil war, revolution or civil disturbances or because of the actions of the authorities, strikes, lockouts, blockades or similar events.**
